This is an update on my previous (Feb 15) post. I recently ordered some replacements of my Noritake Gourmet Harvest dishes (originally manufactured in the mid- to late 1990's), and they arrived @ my residence with the California-mandated Proposition 65 warning--that use of the dishes will expose a person to lead . . . back the dishes went, and we are now using some Homer Laughlin dishes, along with some Fiesta Ware. You can check out the webside at http://hlchina.com/

I have some old Fiesta dishes from my grandmother. Not sure exactly when they were purchased, but easily 40 years or so ago. I have notices that they are getting black marks on them. I am wondering if they contain lead paint and that's why they are doing that. Any input? Thank you in advance for your thoughts.....
