Coming back from work…

When I opened the door last night, I heard Zak say to our son “Maman’s here!”.

By the time I reached the top of the stairs, my toddler was already halfway up. He jumped into my arms, all excited, gave me a big hug and started explaining:

- Maman, Maman, Maman, my vélo (bike) in the house! Papa vélo upstairs!

Not sure why that was such exciting news, but he was beaming. Who wouldn’t want to come home to that? And I thought dogs were great cause they’re always happy to see you when you come home…

Consider yourself warned

Our boy is learning to construct negative sentences these days. A few exemples:

When putting sunscreen on:
- Maman, don’t put in the eyes

- Maman, don’t sit on the cat

- Papa, don’t tickle baby

- Don’t put in the garbage!

As usual, he is very entertaining…
